If we still doubt whether God knows what we go through in life, then we need to meditate on St. Paul’s conversion by St. Luke.
Paul is persecuting none other than the Risen Lord himself. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” The vision blinds Paul and throws him to the ground.
At the Eucharist, we enter into communion and become one with Jesus. Eating his Flesh and drinking his Blood makes us one with God. It is the essence of eternal life and the strengthening of virtue.
