You are a hypocrite.

Literally, the word means “play actor,”
“make believe person,”
“a person of outward show,”
We all struggle practicing what we preach.
Therefore, we need Lent.
It means “springtime,” and we all are in need of a spring cleaning.
People like to ask me what monks give up for Lent. I tell them that Benedictines do not give up things. Benedictines take on a greater measure of service as it says so in the Rule. We become MORE like Christ: we take on more love, more prayer, more actions for the greater good. Because in the end we remember that we are dust and unto dust we shall return.
